They still can be guys XD. After all, in the original game they were clearly boys, even Oboro told Hakuoro that. And we couldn’t see their “documents” in the anime yet, the sheets were covering the most important part.
And a feminine figure is not proof enough. Nowadays there’s a lot of anime shows with androgynous characters. So that’s the question:
What they’re hidding inside the sheets? Breasts or Mr.Elephant?
And anyway, that’s not the first time Oboro hold two swords… :p

I don’t think Oboro is gay. He is just the dumbest, stupidiest male character out there. He should know by now he couldn’t fall sleep in the same place with a pair of gay boys with the hots for him.
Anyone remember MAHOU TSUKAI TAI, when Takeo was forced to sleep in the same place than the upper-gay Aburatsubo? He was awaked all night long, saying to himself “i will not sleep, i will not sleep” . :D
Anyway, is not like Oboro has any dignity left. Benawi, Karura, Touka, just everyone beat him. He even couldn’t win a discussin against Aruruu or Yuzuha. ;)
